Welcome! πŸ‘‹ This app helps you keep track of your nursing shifts, on-call hours, overtime, and more β€” all in one place. You can add your schedule by hand, take or upload a photo of it, or copy and paste it straight from an Excel sheet, and it'll populate right onto your calendar. If you'd like, you can also sync it to your Google Calendar. This is an early beta version, so you may run into a rough edge here and there β€” thanks for bearing with us. Enjoy!

Download calendar files

Apple Calendar only colors by which calendar an event lands in, not by event β€” so for color-coded shifts there, download each type below separately and import each into its own calendar (create one per type, colored to match).
Disclaimer: if you want your on-call shifts and regular shifts to show up as different colors, download them separately (below) rather than using "everything in one file" β€” a single combined file will all show up as one color.

This is still in testing with Google β€” if it's your first time and you get an error, send your Gmail address to whoever set up this app so they can add you as a tester. In the meantime, "download calendar files" below still works for anyone.
Want to share a read-only schedule with someone so they see any updates as they happen?

Share your schedule

Anyone with this link can view your schedule β€” they can't edit, delete, or add anything. It always shows your latest schedule.

Profile

Your account's display name.
Match this to how your name appears on your schedule spreadsheet β€” it's what photo imports search for. Changing it here updates your account, so it follows you to any device you sign into.

Settings

Preferences for this device.
Applies automatically to every shift β€” not one at a time β€” the moment you tap "Sync to Google Calendar" or download the .ics file. It shows up as a normal Google Calendar notification on your phone at this offset before each shift.
Also used as the event color if you sync to Google Calendar.

Applies to whichever types are checked on below when you save. If this day already has entries from different institutions (e.g. from two separate imports), saving here will make them all match this one.

Before you continue

Open the Excel file in a real web browser first β€” for example Chrome, Safari, or Firefox.
Not the OneDrive / SharePoint app, and not Microsoft Copilot β€” those won't let you copy the cells out.

How to select and copy

1Select everything
Tap the small triangle in the very top-left corner of the sheet, where the row numbers meet the column letters β€” this selects the whole sheet at once.

2Copy it
On desktop, press Ctrl+C. On mobile, once everything is highlighted, tap and hold in the middle of the selected area, then tap "Copy" from the menu that appears.

Prefer to select just part of the sheet instead of the whole thing? Drag over your name row and the date headers above it the same way β€” copy and paste works identically either way.
